In 2001 I created and printed my 1st ebook in PDF format. For people who might not understand, PDF stands for the transportable Document Format that was created by adobe.com within the early days of on-line publishing. As I write this, PDF formatted books, papers, and reports proliferate throughout the web house and are, by far, the foremost common format used for such documents. There are varied benefits to PDF formatted Books and Docs, not the smallest amount of that is that they will be instantly downloaded and skim using the free Adobe Reader program that has been put in on nearly each computer and Mac that exists.

From an publisher perspective, PDF is that the ideal format for ebooks. that is as a result of PDF documents use WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) formatting, thus regardless of the document, it’ll continually seem in barely a similar format within which it absolutely was created. this is true whether or not the PDF document is being scan on-line or printed out in laborious copy kind. So, if your book contains any form of special layout and/or formatting, which will be totally preserved when printed as a PDF document.
